SMS Terms for Client Scribe Recipients

Last Updated: January 2025

1. About This Service

Client Scribe is a feedback collection platform that enables creative businesses (photographers, designers, agencies, and similar service providers) to request feedback from their clients on project deliverables.

If you are receiving SMS messages via Client Scribe, it means a business you work with is sending you secure links to review deliverables and provide feedback, comments, or approvals on your project.

Client Scribe is the platform provider, not the sender. The business sending you messages is responsible for the content and timing of those messages.

2. Program Description

Client Scribe facilitates feedback and review requests for active projects. This is not a marketing or promotional messaging service.

Message Types You May Receive:

  • Secure links to review project deliverables (photos, designs, work-in-progress)
  • Requests to provide feedback, notes, or comments on your project
  • Links to forms for submitting approvals or requested changes
  • Reminders to complete pending feedback requests
  • Transactional notifications related to your feedback submissions

All messages contain time-limited, secure links. You can click these links to access a feedback form without creating an account. The form allows you to review deliverables and provide your input directly to the business.

3. How You Opted In

You are receiving messages because you provided your mobile phone number and consent to the business you are working with. Consent is typically obtained through:

  • A signed service agreement or contract
  • A written intake form or client onboarding document
  • A digital form or checkbox during online sign-up
  • An in-person acknowledgment when you began services

Note: If you do not recall providing consent or believe you are receiving messages in error, please contact the business directly or reply STOP to opt out immediately.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your active projects and the business's communication needs. You may receive:

  • Multiple messages during active project phases (e.g., review and approval cycles)
  • Infrequent messages during slower periods
  • No messages when you have no active projects

The sending business controls message frequency. Client Scribe does not determine when or how often you receive messages.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Client Scribe does not charge you to receive messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for incoming SMS messages and data usage according to your mobile plan.

Please check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan and any applicable charges.

6. How to Opt Out (STOP) or Get Help

To Opt Out:

Reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message.

You will receive a confirmation message and will not receive any further messages from that business via Client Scribe. Opting out is immediate and permanent unless you re-enroll with the business.

To Get Help:

Reply HELP or INFO to any message.

You will receive information about the service, including how to opt out and who to contact for support.

Expected Responses:

  • STOP response: "You have been unsubscribed from [Business Name] via Client Scribe. No more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for support."
  • HELP response: "Client Scribe help: This is a project messaging service for [Business Name]. Reply STOP to opt out. For support: support@clientscribe.io"

7. Supported Carriers

Client Scribe is compatible with messages sent to and from major U.S. mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may be affected by network coverage, device compatibility, or carrier-specific filtering. Client Scribe and the sending business are not responsible for carrier-related delivery failures.

8. Privacy and Your Data

Client Scribe processes your phone number and message content solely to facilitate message delivery on behalf of the business you are working with.

For detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data, please review our Privacy Policy.

The business sending you messages has its own privacy practices. For questions about how they use your information, contact them directly.

Contact the business sending you messages directly. They control what messages are sent and when.
